Windows VST3, macOS VST3 and Audio Unit, plus Linux VST3 and LV2.

Download. Install. Make some noise.

  1. Download and extract the ZIP. Close your DAW before installing.
  2. Windows 10/11, 64-bit: copy the entire Windows/Slight Distort Suite.vst3 folder into C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3.
  3. macOS: copy the Mac VST3 bundle into ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/VST3/, or the Audio Unit bundle into ~/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/. These builds are ad-hoc signed and not notarized; see the included README for setup details.
  4. Linux x86_64: copy the VST3 bundle into ~/.vst3/, or the LV2 bundle into ~/.lv2/. Requires glibc 2.35 or newer.
  5. Reopen your DAW and rescan plugins. Keep each plugin bundle intact when copying.
